    1. Product Description

It started with an anonymous letter detailing Gwendolynne Price's deepest fantasies... Written by erotic mastermind Portia Da Costa, In Too Deep is the Sunday Times best-seller that follows Gwen's journey of seduction by her mysterious correspondent.

    1. Great story

Reviewed: 1 November 2015 by greenrider85, a Straight Single Female

This was probably the hottest erotica I have read ever. I really liked the premise, and the fact that you weren't sure for awhile who was sending her those messages.

That kept me reading and how far she wanted to go.

There were definitely some hot fantasies in this book.

      Bottom line
Great erotic book to get you in the mood.

    1. The best erotica book in the market

Reviewed: 3 June 2015 by fantasia fairy, a Straight Single Female

I was kindly gifted this book by a wonderful Lovehoney fairy, but unfortunately due to be being insanely busy, I've only just got a chance to get to read it.

The story starts off with a letter, meaning the story basically started right at the start of 'the heat'. There was no build up to introduce the character or what was going on for the first few pages, but this was not a problem after reading the first few pages.

The story centres around three central characters Gwen, Daniel and Nemesis. Nemesis invites Gwen to try out erotic 'dares' and despite herself she finds herself pulled into the mystery that is Nemesis.

Confiding in her crush, Daniel, she begins to engage in a 'just for fun' relationship and at the same time begins to fall in love with the young man who unbeknown to her is harbouring a dark and heartbreaking secret of his own.

Many a time during the duration of this book I laughed, and cried along with having to excuse myself from the room more often than once.

Full of mystery, suspense, excitement, passion and thrills, 'In too deep' is a book you would want to read over and over again!

    1. In Too Deep

Reviewed: 3 October 2014 by Scorpius12, a Straight Married Female

Librarian Gwen comes across as rather prim and proper on the outside, but when the anonymous 'Nemesis' starts leaving naughty notes for her in the suggestions box, a new side to her is unleashed. Accompanied by the sexy resident 'Professor Hottie' Gwen begins trying out the suggestions and enters a whole new level of fun, and erotic excitement...

Gwendolyne is not your stereotypical mousy librarian though. She is a young, vibrant, sexually frustrated but an incredibly confident woman. This book is very sensual, and the two main characters are really believable, living ordinary lives. Gwen is a librarian and Daniel is a professor who is using the library to do some research.

It is also has some witty descriptions, and humorous, often laugh out loud moments. This book is also very well written and flows very nicely.

The sex scenes are nothing extreme but are again realistic and often fun. If you want boundaries pushed then this is not the book for you. If you want an enjoyable, interesting and lighthearted erotic tale, this is definitely for you.

      Light-hearted, sensual and fun.
      Bottom line
      Enjoyable, and light-hearted erotic tale.

    1. Portia scores again

Reviewed: 15 September 2012 by blondes_have_more_fun, a Straight Single Female

I've read several Portia da Costa books, and I love them all. They're described as erotic romances, which sums her style up perfectly. If you want a romantic storyline and characters you care about coupled with extremely hot sex scenes, this is for you.

The storyline is more than just 'will they, won't they get it together/get married'. I really wanted to find out what happened to the characters. And it includes some of the most inventive sex scenes I've ever read. They start on page 1 with a very sexy letter - no flicking over several chapters to find the erotic bits in this book!

I thought it was a bit of a cliché having a repressed librarian called Gwendolynne, but maybe, as a librarian's daughter myself, I'm a bit sensitive!

There are some nice tie-ins to Portia's other novels - we find out a bit more about Annie and Valentino from Suite Seventeen, and, though I haven't yet read it, Robert and Maria from Entertaining Mr Stone.

    1. Incredible and brilliant and, erm, hot

Reviewed: 18 July 2011 by Tawney, a Straight Going Steady Female

I found this to be an excellent book. Great storyline with brilliantly detailed descriptions that left me hot and horny on many occasions.

I have to be honest and say that if I hadn't met my other half like I did then I think I would have probably met him like the story in this book.

I'd recommend this to everyone - great stuff!

I'm now going to find another one of Portia da Costa's and I hope it's just as good!

      Bottom line
      Brilliant sexy read.
