    1. She will melt

Reviewed: 1 October 2009 by ourlorderic, a Straight Engaged Male

Take her out for a nice meal, once back home slip into the bedroom and light a few candles and then call her in. She will be putty in your hands.

They look and feel nice. You can tell they are not real but they do still look really good.

You could only really use these on special occasions as a surprise, as every other week would seriously lose its charm.

The little card thing is a bit pointless and the candles are laughable when you can buy 100 tea lights for £1.99 in most shops, but then you are only really buying this for the petals.

Buy some additional candles, dim the lights and have an awesome night!

    1. Romance without the mess!

Reviewed: 5 September 2009 by KittyPurry, a Gay Going Steady Female

As a self confessed hussy, I sometimes forget that sex can be about more than just getting your rocks off!

I wanted to do something sweet and romantic for my partner and naturally my thoughts turned to roses! I thought I’d leave a trail of rose petals to lead him to the candlelit bedroom for a night of slow and passionate loving. I was nervous about using real rose petals however, as I heard from a friend that the mess they make is terrible (and doesn’t wash out)!

This product was a perfect substitute... The invitation was a little cheesy so I didn’t bother with that but the petals themselves were lovely. They look real enough and I’m certain if you lie naked on a bed of them your partner won’t notice!

The atmosphere created by the candles and petals was great and my partner and I enjoyed a sensual night in the romantic setting.

The scent wears off fairly quickly (especially if you’re rolling around on them) so if you were re-using them I’d suggest spraying them with a little rose water to get the lovely floral fragrance back.

Some might say the silk roses are a bit of a cop out and I can sort of see where they’re coming from as real roses are quite special. However, as the person responsible for the laundry I’d actually prefer these: I wouldn’t find an afternoon of furious scrubbing at rose stains very sexy when I could gather up silk petals in seconds!

Good value, romantic, easy to tidy up afterwards.
The invitation was a little tacky.
      Bottom line
Practical and romantic (yes you can have both!).

    1. Romantic and long lasting! :op

Reviewed: 14 April 2008 by punkboy

Well, it was meant to be a little surprise, but it turned out to be great! No fuss, no having to collect rotting flower petals for weeks after, just a nice little romantic scene setting and the rest is up to you. Best part is, you can collect them up and use them again, either for a romantic evening in or to help set the mood at that weekend away as Mr and Mrs Smith...

Easy to clear up, no mess, romantic!
Can be a bit tacky lol
      Bottom line
Fun, romantic and easy to use

    1. How to come up smelling of Roses

Reviewed: 1 March 2006 by littlemissmel

It does what it says on the tin, providing a load of silky petal things and a few bits like candles to set up the bedroom for a quiet evening in.

This was bought by a fella hoping to impress me and instead of doing that I found it a bit cheeky to be honest. Why couldn't he have done the real thing??

Leaving the empty box at my place was a bit rubbish.

Good for a cheap, quick, 'romantic' idea
Bad in that it's a cheap, quick, cop out of a 'romantic' idea
      Bottom line
A romantic idea that would be better if the real thing.
