I bought this as a treat for me and my partner to try over Valentine's. It certainly didn't disappoint.

The We-Vibe was perfect. I don't think I've ever orgasmed as much as I did using this! It's definitely something we will be using time and time again! It's rechargeable too, which is a bonus. No more searching for batteries!

The restraints were good too, and the Vanilla candle and massage oil smelt absolutely lovely and really set the mood.

After purchasing this calendar I am defintely converted from the chocolate kind.

Was fun and exciting to open a new window for a surprise each day. Would recommend as a great gift!

The box is really pretty and I was so excited to find out what was inside! As I hadn’t seen the item on this page, I didn’t know what to expect. I opened the seal at the side of the box and lifted up the lid to reveal something that looked similar to a sexy advent calendar. You are meant to open one item each night for a week, but I got too excited and had opened the lot within two nights!

As you can see what’s inside, I know I'm not spoiling the fun by talking about the contents. It contains a couple of bondage items, a sex toy, and a few other items for better sex. It would be better suited to a couple, but if you are single then you can still get use out all of the kit on your own (just make sure you can get out of the restraints!) - and there’s nothing wrong with a self-massage.

This kit is great for, I would say, newbies to bondage and couples wanting to spice things up. Perhaps you’re interested in a bit of bondage but you aren’t too sure, or you’ve not tried it before? The best way (in my humble opinion) to see if you like bondage is by experimenting very gently. There are no studded pants or chains in here! But what you will find is some beautifully soft restraints which are really easy to use as they have a little hole in each end, and a soft and gentle tickler. This is pretty vanilla in bondage standards, so nothing to be scared of if you’ve never done it before! And if you like it, then you can explore Lovehoney’s bondage section and see what other delights you can find...

The rest of the kit is quite mixed; so you have some love petals which can be scattered over the bed, or you can even put them in the bath! (I already have 2 other packs of these as I love them). If you use then in the bath then simply rinse them in clear water and leave them to air dry.

You have a vanilla scented candle and massage oil which is delicately scented and not too overwhelming. Great to set the mood and what better foreplay than a massage?! (Just try to not fall asleep.)

You also have some ‘romance cards’ with some sexy suggestions to spice things up, and the main piece is the We-Vibe couples vibrator. This can be insert inside the vagina and you can still be penetrated; you just put the thinner end inside you and the larger end outside against your clit. The dual motors will stimulate your clit and G-spot, and your partner should be able to penetrate you with the toy in place. It can be a bit tricky to get it to stay put, and you can’t adjust the speeds without trying to find the button (there’s no remote control), but the vibrations are rumbly and delicious! If it’s bit awkward to use it with a couple. Just use it on your own and go hands-free - perfect.

Overall there are some great pieces inside this kit. The packaging looks really sexy and the box is great for storage (although I wouldn’t store the massage oil in here in case you lay it flat). I love a sex toy kit. It’s just so exciting opening the doors and seeing what’s inside! I don’t think there’s anything I dislike inside this kit. There are one or two bits I already have, but that’s because I’m a sex toy junkie and I have two cabinets full of toys...

I’d recommend this kit to couples and singles, but in the main I think this would suit a couple wanting some lighthearted kinky fun.

This is definitely somthing made from heaven. Absolutely love this. Was a great gift for my partner. She loves it. Great items inside. Brought another kind of fun to the bedroom.

Would definitely by again. If they do a different one with no worries about it, it will be worth it. I hope they do a different range soon.

Each item was really exciting to open each day, and all the products came together to make an excellent kit once opened. Would definitely recommend this to my friends over a chocolate calendar!

I liked the idea of having a kit, I know Lovehoney already do toy and lingerie kits so I was excited to try the ‘romance kit’ and wasn’t left disappointed.

The kit comes inside a nice black packing, with red hearts on. But it is more like a book which is exciting to open, I also like the fact each window is numbered like a calendar which makes it more fun.

I like how the calendar has a range of toys, sensual items and games inside.

It contains a vanilla massage bottle which smells very nice and has a nice texture and isn’t sticky- perfect for giving your partner a massage.

A vanilla-scented candle for a romantic mood to be set.

Rose petals in a red textured material inside a mesh black bag.

Romance cards for ideas of romantic gestures for your partner.

Two red silky wrist ties to add fun to the bedroom.

A black feather tickler to get your partner excited.

And my personal favourite the couples we vibe vibrator which is rechargeable and easy to use!

Overall I would definitely recommend this romance kit for anyone who wants a variety of ideas to spice up their love life and to wake up to the surprise and suspense of what is behind each window. A perfect gift too!

I love these calendars and have tried a few. It's a great way to spice things up.

The packaging is lovely and romantic. It works well with it being quite discreet on the outside.

We opened the doors every day and enjoyed the items over two weeks.

The best item by far was the We Vibe toy. It's a great little thing that really packs a punch. A little awkward to use but definitely one to try.

I also loved the candle and oil. The smell was so lovely!

Overall a great intriguing kit!

Bit of a tricky review this one as I'm sure you don't want me to spoil the surprise of what lies behind the doors of this advent calendaresque package. Or do you? I'm not going to so sorry if you do...

(Of course if Loveyhoney decide to include the contents in the photos or description at any point, then it's pretty much a moot point and slightly embarrassing as I'll look like an idiot.)

The romance pack is, as mentioned, not unlike an advent calendar but instead of a Christmas scene or chocolate there is a sexy surprise behind each door, seven in total. Also, the quality of the box was far and above any advent calendar I've ever had!

One of the items was alluded to from the sticker on the front of the box but apart from that, we had no idea what was inside.

The items were all good quality (as was the box itself) and each one different in terms of what they offered.

The biggest of the items (certainly in monetary terms) is best used with a vagina (it's actually designed for a vagina/penis combination) so if there are just people with penises in your relationship it's not best suited (although with a bit of imagination it might not totally go to waste).

We really enjoyed this pack and it's one of our favourite things we've ever had from Lovehoney. Getting a little something each day is great and even the quality of the box made it feel a bit special!

It's packaged very well and all the items are very good quality if but small in size. It really is a romantic kit so nothing crazy going on here. The main piece, the We-Vibe, was slightly disappointing as we'd been looking forward to using it for a while. It's easy to use and is stimulating for both partners but after a while made us both a little numb and without a controller was a bit of a faff to change settings once you get into it!

The We-Vibe wasn’t very pleasurable my wife has said. She said it was fiddly to hold, didn’t sit properly.

The candle and massage oil smell amazing! The fluffy tickler and silk restraints were cute and kinky, and the romance cards were cool there were, so many romantic ones.
