Was skeptical that something could be this good. The first time I used it on my wife she was having her first orgasm in less than a minute. She then came three more times in the next 5 minutes as this doesn't make her clit to sensitive to continue.

If you are looking and already have the Starlet, I'd say go for this! It is worth the extra. No it doesn't have patterns and it has no flashy extras (an oversight btw Lovehoney - if I could change anything it would be there would be a version of all the head sizes so you can work out what works for you.) I have only ever tried a medium. But what it does have is size! And the option to go up and down!

It's a way more comfortable hold - not that the Starlet was uncomfortable or I really even felt size had been a problem, I think you just go large and you never want to look back! Yes, it is pink (normally a pet hate of mine when it comes to sex toys!) but it's not that bright '80s pink and yes, it is made from plastic, but it feels sturdy and doesn't seem the type to chip or fall apart. The black parts seem to have a soft-feel type rubber on them, so although it is plastic, it's not all the same type of plastic.

I have a Starlet now which I don't think is going to get used! Somehow the larger size just feels like you have more control, the grip is better and it feels more like a ride, less of a desperate grip to keep it in place. Like I say, it was never an issue I felt I had until I tried this!

I love the idea of being able to increase as well as decrease! For me, I get to my O, then I want to turn down because I just want to sit back and enjoy, if I've gone in too fast and hard I also need to step things down a bit or it's going to hurt (have to say this tends to be rare with a Womanizer in general compared to other clit vibes which always make me sensitive) the decrease means I can do this without having to stop fully and restart. The battery also lasts longer- you do need to remember to charge because there is no warning -either that or I was too far engaged to hear it! It doesn't take long to charge, the green flashing light coming from the mouth is what tells you it's done and ready to go.

The vibrations are slightly stronger on this compared to the Starlet, but not dramatically different. If anything, I'd say the switch is milder rather than it reaching further, for most who've reviewed this though I've mostly heard that the first few levels are enough to get you to where you want to be, same for me too.

Noise wise, the Womanizers in general are quieter than a bullet or clit vibe or anything G-spot related anyway because Womanizers are more precise and when they meet the right spot and form a connection it stops the noise and you barely hear it, you mostly just feel it. It's not silent enough you could use this and not have your partner hear it if they were in bed with you for example, but don't worry about this travelling through walls, it won't make your neighbours suddenly know what you're doing and start sending notes or anything!

The only caveat I have is that I've not tried all of the Womanizer range to compare all of them (they are on my wish list, however) so can't say if other pricier versions are even better or not, but this is so far the best I've had yet!
