However after unpacking it and plugging it in, we instantly knew that we wouldn’t be disappointed. Even on low this thing outstrips the performance of all our other toys put together. And at full vibration, the wine glasses were being shaken across the table. I tried it on myself just to see how powerful it was and it made my teeth chatter - you can feel the vibrations throughout your entire body. It has an almost industrial feel to it and you do feel like you should be wearing protective equipment to handle it.

Without going into too much detail, let’s just say that this was an instant hit. Mrs S came in record time and, to our surprise, she also squirted for the first time ever. In fact this remains the only toy in our arsenal that can make her squirt. There are two problems with this toy. Firstly, the cord is nowhere near long enough; unless you have a socket right at the foot of the bed, you will need an extension cable. For the first couple of uses it isn’t actually that bad given how much power is being unleashed, but after a while the casing does seem to vibrate quite loudly on full power, like it is trying to shake itself apart. 5. You need to be careful while giving a massage with this wand on high, as if you place the wand directly on the bone it feels very strange, and can be painful.

Okay, first I shall state that I bought this along with 2 other toys, as it was in the 3 for £75 offer and I have wanted a mains-powered wand for quite some time now.

I was originally going to get the original white one, which is something like £10 cheaper. Until I found this.

I asked myself, "Why is this more expensive than the white?" So I asked in the forums, and apparently this is a new and improved version. Which made sense to me.

Then I noticed that it was in the 3 for £75 deal, and how was I going to turn down this amazing product along with two other amazing products, down for a £15 or so difference? Let's be real. I wasn't.

I saved all of my spare money, and then eventually I got an added discount! Which took my price for all 3 toys down to £60! That's a penny more than it would be buying alone. So I was getting two other amazing products for free! I couldn't say no! I went ahead and did it. I pressed that checkout button quicker than you could say "wand".

I wasn't in when my parcel got delivered, to my disappointment. I saw the little Royal Mail card sitting on the inside of my door floor and almost cried because I knew the post office was shut. Until I read the card, which stated it had been left with a very trustworthy neighbour of mine. I opened my door and saw her car parked in the driveway, and the downstairs lights on inside her house. What is so wonderful about a full-size wand is you really have more than just a "sex toy". This is truly a massager that can be used on many areas of the body, for general relaxation and for sexual stimulation if desired.

The Lovehoney Deluxe Magic Wand Vibrator arrives is a modern and sleek Lovehoney logo box. Perfect for gift giving! Inside the wand is secured in a plastic casing to keep it safe during shipment. There is also a small instruction booklet enclosed with care and use instructions.

This is a plug in toy. Which frankly I wasn't sure how much I would really like prior to owning a powered wand. But because it is plug in, the power on this wand is very strong and intense. The power cord is plenty long to reach an outlet and give you enough slack to move around as needed.

The body of this wand is a clean white plastic. This keeps it lightweight and easier to hold and manipulate. The weight is important is you are concerned about holding the wand at an angle or a way that will not allow you to rest the toy or your arm against anything for an extended period of time. The Lovehoney red heart logo and purple plastic neck look nice but a bit feminine, so keep that in mind.

I also like the size of this wand, while the handle is plenty long to hold and be comfortable, it is not overly large or awkward.
