This item was the Maid’s request. We researched and talked about the benefits of each product. This one is clearly the best available of its kind.

This item is beautifully made. Someone has thought very carefully about the ergonomic shape, and feel of it.

The knickers are lovely too, soft fabric and ribbons, but conveniently it can be tucked into the pocket in more conventional underwear too. This is an important point as the included knickers got very wet, very quickly…

The silicone covering is very soft. The gently curving shape, including the pronounced ‘bump’ is extremely thoughtful. The travel pack is sturdy and you would not look out of place and discreet packed in a suitcase amongst other travel items.

I gave this as a Christmas gift and was impressed (and happy!) that it felt upmarket and not like a cheap tacky toy. It is solidly made, but not heavy or bulky. We’ve yet to experiment with its waterproof abilities. The only point of entry would be the charging point, but this seems to have a valve which prevents water entry. I’m pretty sure it would work fine in a bath or pool.

The charging (USB) cable is included. The power light clearly shows when it is fully charged, and the charge lasts several hours. We've had no issues with it running low in an inopportune moment. The remote uses a standard watch battery, also included. The remote is ergonomic to hold, with three simple buttons, vibration setting, and intensity up and down (you hold the setting button a few seconds to power it on or off).

A minor comment is that remote buttons could be a little more distinct to the touch. This is simply because in public, using the remote discreetly, with a hand out of sight or in a pocket, it takes a moment to distinguish which buttons are which. However, this is pretty easy as the three buttons are arranged in a straight line. I’d liked the power/setting button to perhaps be a little larger to better distinguish it perhaps. This really is a small, subjective point on this fabulous thing.

It is worth experimenting with this at home or in private first. Get used to the settings! The remote will work across a room in open sight, but slightly less distance around corners. Much like a TV remote.

The whole experience of remote control for somethings so intimate is very exciting and unusual. I had some concern for the loss of intimacy with the remote experience. Actually, the stimulation and anticipation it provides, means hands are free for intimacy when needed (because neither of us need to hold anything!). The full potential of this has yet to be realised.

The Maid comments that the 'bump' can be positioned above, on or below the clitoris as preferred for different sensations, and if not moving too much, will stay in place.

It can be a little noisy on higher settings, but not excessively or unexpected for its power, and nothing that isn’t masked by background noise in a public place, such as a bar or restaurant with background music. We found a bigger issue was that on higher settings, it was vibrating through a shared wooden bench seat and we were slightly concerned that nearby patrons might notice it!

The Maid adds, part of enjoyment is actually on lower settings and left on a constant for some time. This is the thrill of something secret and illicit in the public domain. The fact that the Captain has control of the settings, intensity and even on and off, creates a certain excitement of anticipation for her.

The Maid likes crossing her legs sometimes to increase the intensity. The higher power settings can prevent her conversational abilities at the dinner table! (If she leans forward and clutches the table cloth with both hands, it’s probably the right time to turn it down a bit.) Be aware of this, to not embarrass her, or your dinner guests (unless of course this is consensual and is the intention…). The remote is a lot of fun to use in this environment.

We sometimes use visual cues, such as my instruction that I would switch it on when the starter course arrived. This creates a wonderful anticipation. That said, she generally prefers NOT knowing when it might be operated or a setting changed.

This is a very happy purchase. We both love it!

Pretty easy to set up but not as good as I'd hoped reading the reviews.

The knickers are for size 10 and under and the controls don't have a great setting for increasing speed and intensity.

Also I thought it would be discreet, but it sounds as load as a normal vibrator.

I bought this as a present for my wife as I wanted to be able to tease her over the course of an evening. She really struggled to get it to hit the spot and stay there.

The product itself is well made if a little expensive. If it works for you then great, but it just didn't do anything for my other half.

As far as power goes this product tried hard, but could not quite get me there. All in all, it is a good piece of fun, but not a product I'd recommend if you are after vibrator-induced orgasm.

I wanted something for my partner that we could take out in public. I could control and have a bit of fun. Originally I wanted something cheaper because I'm a bit of a tight arse... No pun intended for this website lol. Looking at the other options on here, everything was sold out (as Fifty Shades Darker was being released), so I'd thought well why not just do it... I do not regret it!

It came in a discreet box. Inside was nicely presented zip box with it all in, instructions, charging cables and small enough to tuck into your underwear drawer. The knickers were a little small my mrs is a size 14 and the back of them didn't sit right the vibrator kept moving around, but you can put the vibrator into any knickers and that worked out better.

She loved it! Various modes and speeds make it easy to have her twitching and jumping. I like the fact there was a button to go through the different types of vibrations then also buttons to control the speed of those vibrations in particular.

I have never seen her so wet! Amazing to play with outdoors but you can't tell when it's turned off as you need to cycle through the modes. But even in the house it's fun. Got her so turned on she had one of the most intense orgasms she has had once things got going! We’ve previously tried other cheaper versions of knicker vibrators but were always left disappointed with the quality and their ability to hit the spot. This time we decided to give it another go with a more premium product, and as we already own and have been impressed with other items from the desire range this was an obvious choice.

As with the rest of the Desire range, the quality is excellent, right from the moment you see the classy and well finished packaging.

The finish and quality of the silicone is excellent and the remote feels good in your hand. You can tell its been well thought out and designed.

The knickers are the same quality as the rest of the Lovehoney range, which is good, but Mrs TB149 prefers something with a bit more coverage for her curvy size 12 bum. The good news is that the vibrator arguably works better in ‘normal’ knickers as it cuts out the extra layer of material the pouch for the vibrator sits in. Even in normal knickers the vibrator sits where it needs to and stays there (provided they are reasonably tight fitting).

The biggest let down with previous products we’ve tried is that they just never sat in the right place or made contact with the right areas. This is much much better. The shape is well designed to make contact where it needs to and transmits the vibrations to where you want them. The vibrations are strong too and there is plenty of adjustment and variation in the strengths and patterns.

We’ve used this out and about in local bars and provided there is a bit of background noise there is no danger of it getting heard. The remote works fine too provided you are within a few meters but don’t expect it to work through walls or over large distances.

We’ve found this to be a great tease. It doesn’t provide the intensity to take her all the way but it starts the foreplay a lot earlier in the evening, and gives a great feeling of naughtiness knowing what is going on in her knickers. The vibrator itself is made of smooth silicone and fits perfectly inside the knicker pouch, sitting comfortably just where you want it to.

Make sure it is fully charged and the travel lock is not activated then you are ready to go.

Now the best bit is being able to wear this out in public, give the remote to your partner and let them turn you on when you least expect it! (Just make sure you are not too far away from them!)

The vibrator has multiple settings. If you don't want anyone to hear the lowest setting is relatively quiet, but the highest settings are louder- don't use in the library!

Overall this is a great toy and lots of fun for everyone involved.

Pleased to say that it’s a comfortable and small little device that fits nicely 'down there'.

The vibrations are good, lots of speed options and patterns to choose from. The only downside would be the noise.

Was really hoping for it to be quiet.

Would feel really nervous leaving the house with it as it seems the whole restaurant et cetera would hear it.

We got this for our 20th anniversary and tested it out when we went walking a historic town, awesome. She got really excited. By the time we went back to our room, she was all over me, sweet.

Discreet and easy to use. The carry case makes it easy to transport and keep clean. Underwear is easy to use and ties up at the sides, allowing it to fit any size. Vibration is quiet so is easily used in public spaces without bringing attention to you.

I bought this to add to our remote toy collection for when we go out. There's just something about being naughty in public that turns my OH's sex dial up to 1 million.

Overall, it's a good vibe. Soft silicone, rechargeable, easy to clean, decent motor and has quite a luxury feel to it. It works well both remotely and as a foreplay toy. In fact, we commonly pick this up instead of our 6-year-old LH bullet which has been our main toy since we bought it.

Is it powerful? For its size, yes it is. It's not rabbit or wand powerful, but it's more than your average bullet vibe.

Will it make you orgasm? This one's so personal it's probably not useful. If I use it in the bedroom then yes, it's more than capable. But if you're imagining O's walking down the street, then probably not. For the right person, it could achieve that, but my OH's anatomy and preferences don't align perfectly enough.

Is it loud? Depends on the power setting. At low power is barely audible, especially under clothing. At it's highest the cinema-goers in front will be annoyed at you for not switching your mobile phone completely off. Stay somewhere in the middle and it's quiet enough as long as your not in a silent room. Just don't sit on any wooden benches!

How long does it last? Depending on power setting, we get a good hour out of ours between charges.

How comfortable is it? Well, I don't have to wear it, but my OH doesn't say it's too bad. In the right spot, it's good, but it moves when you sit/stand/walk which can range from being annoying to uncomfortable. Best used during periods of being stationary.

Does it fit other knickers? Sure, most of my OH's underwear works well with this sitting partially in the gusset/pocket.

What's the range? Realistically anything more than 'across the table' is going to be a problem.

What's the remote like? It's one of the better remotes we have but could be better. It's not discreet enough to have on show, so you'll need to handle it in your pocket.

How reliable is it? The product feels sturdy with no signs of wear after many months of weekly use. It does suffer from the same issues as every other RF device in that you will at some point tell it to turn off, and your partner will end up eating their meal slowly going numb from 45 minutes of vibrations. I recommend pre-agreeing some subtle signs with your partner for status updates unless you want to be kicked repeatedly in the shins. We went for my OH pigeon-dancing-beatboxing the vibe rhythm and the death glare if it's on and she needs a break.

I bought this in the sale and received it half price, so I really can't complain about the price.

Product arrived in discreet packaging and the actual toy and travel case was very professional and expensive looking.

Very soft materials sit comfortably against the skin in intimate areas. When I wore this in public I didn't use the pants that come with the toy. I just slipped into the knickers I was already wearing. When walking down a quiet street I felt like it could be heard, but my OH said he couldn't. I think I was self-conscious as the feeling was very powerful. Only qualm I have is that sometimes my OH was trying to change setting/turn it off and the vibrator didn't respond, but I think this was because he had the remote in his pocket and wasn't looking and it was first time we had used it. Otherwise, great product. Would definitely recommend.

Very disappointing with this product.

While it appears to work fine, if you are anything more than a few meters away, the remote can no longer make any changes or turn it on. The website claims 8m, but we are lucky to achieve 2m or so at best. Really defeats the purpose if you can't even activate the thing from across an open plan area.

I will agree that the product itself looks nice, however, it is very noisy and not discreet at all.

The vibrations are rather loud and I could not use this with my husband as a fun out and about teasing toy. Another thing that upsets me is that I purchased this less than a month ago and it is now 20 dollars on sale! I feel like $99 was too much to spend on this product.

This is very hard to get into the right spot and extremely loud.

My husband has to be really close i.e., within a foot or so to control the vibrator, so not as much fun as if he was further away.

It would be better if you could control it through a mobile phone.
