    1. Product Description

There's so much to love about this sensational black basque from Seven 'til Midnight, it's hard to know where to begin. From its slimming lace and mesh panels, to its cleavage-boosting demi-cups and matching G-string, every inch is set to seduce.

Made from sheer lace that covers your nipple to tease and torment your beau, the underwired cups feature a padded section underneath for sly lift and support. A boned V-shaped plunge in the centre emphasises the curve of your pair for added impact.

At the apex, stretch lace strapping lifts and defines your shape, and adds a kinky touch to the feminine shape and style of the basque, before leading into adjustable shoulder straps.

The body of the basque is made from alternating floral lace and dot mesh panels, trimmed with satin overseaming and a row of hook-and-eye fastenings to the rear. A wide double-layered panel at the centre elongates and slims your torso.

To finish your femme fatale style, the hem of the basque is fitted with 4 gold-and-black removable suspender straps. Wear with the matching dot mesh G-string and a pair of sultry seamed stockings to command attention in the bedroom.

    1. Beautiful

Purchased this yesterday, couldn't wait to try it on! I love it!

The price did put me off, but it's beautiful on! It's not as long on me as the model, but I'm really not bothered!

It's lovely and fitted, even sucks you in a tad! It fits so nicely can't wait to show it off!

Cups are only padded a quarter of the way, so you can still have some fun!

      The fit.
Not as long as I wanted it to be.

    1. Not a firm favourite

      Reviewed: 15 March 2016 by Kinky&Curvy

It’s unfortunate for me to say that, though beautiful, and well built, this bustier has its faults.

I absolutely adore the dual material, the fishnet style shoulder straps and those going along the bust with a cute little satin black bow placed at the crossing of both straps to hide the overlapping.

Then there’s the beautiful floral lace in contrast against the polka dot mesh panelling. I’m not usually a fan of polka dot however, the floral lace is deeper and darker against the mesh polka dot and it’s placing slims the frame. The floral pattern, down over the hips, down the middle of the stomach and back and then the lighter mesh is rather sheer so works perfectly to show just enough. Together they provide a very fitting form.

The bottom of the bustier is finished with scalloped edging to add further elegance. There are also garter straps with golden detailing to match those on the straps over the shoulder. I found adjusting these straps to be rather finicky and annoying.

Now onto the cup and fit – This is where it all goes downhill.

The cups have the same beautiful floral lace that is both down the front and back of the bustier, but that’s all I can say is nice about them.

I requested the Large for this bustier knowing full well that a medium would never fit my 32H bust. And the reason I chose to test this item is because, well, one it looked beautiful, but two, though ‘pushed up’, the lace material is usually a good fit for larger busts than something which is lightly lined. Because there is no room in lightly lined, you usually end up with double boob, whereas the lace allows for a little more give. At least that’s what I originally thought. The same does not apply for this bustier.

Trying on the bustier was a bit of a struggle (it would be with 17 hook n’ eyes) and once on it was rather snug, though I did have it fastened as tight as it would allow. I’m a 12, probably a small-medium 12 if that is possible, and I found this to fit just right. After all, it is supposed to be snug, being a bustier. Having said that if you’re the larger side of a 14 I think you might struggle.

But what put me off this bustier was the cup.

Now, I’m proud to say that the other day I went braless because I was wearing a backless top and everyone was asking how I hid my bra… I’m proud of that because obviously my boobs looked perfectly shaped and pert.

This bustier just doesn’t provide a nice fit. The underwire of the cup has absolutely no give whatsoever and because of that and the give of floral lace, it just doesn’t seem to have a nice fit.

Front the front on, yes, to be fair, my boobs look great, if a little like they might fall out, but they at least look nice and round. From the side there isn’t any fit, it just doesn’t shape my boobs in a nice way. My boobs look as if they are shaped out from my chest instead of pushed up, not sure if that makes much sense.

Having said all this, maybe my bust is a little big for this cup and someone who is possibly a firm dd could just about get away with it and look good.

I say ‘firm’ because I let one of my friends try this on, she’s a 12 like myself, but around two cups smaller and older, she’s had kids and needs the support of a good cup now. Well, this really didn’t flatter her figure at all. There is no push up or support and she felt terrible wearing it. I again put this down to the underwire not being flexible and the cup having too much give.

The floral lace, fishnet style straps.
Didn't provide much support in the bust.
      Bottom line
      Suitable for smaller bust.
