We've used a wide variety of lubes before; different tastes, heat sensations, tingle sensations, wetness, stickiness. Most have been appreciated at the time for various reasons; however, this product really stood out due to the consistency of the liquid and how it complements our new found love of sex toys perfectly.

After recently purchasing a Fleshlight I had tried a number of different lubes to see which enhanced the experience the most. One was distracting as it was too hot and numbing. Another was far too wet and messy, dripping the liquid everywhere when you really want it to stay in the toy. The free sachet of Fleshlight lube seemed appropriate but there was barely any of it and a small bottle seemed expensive in comparison to others.

Then there was Lovehoney Enjoy lubricant. What really stood out to me was the thickness of the lube. Once applied to the toy (we've tried it with the Fleshlight, extenders and dildos) it stays where you squirt it, without slopping elsewhere and losing half of it on the bed. It stays where you need it. For the Fleshlight in particular, this was perfect for lubricating the hole before it was pushed further into the toy.

When spread, the thick liquid does exactly what you want it to; make sex toys or sex more lubricated and pleasant without any inappropriate friction. My wife says that it does a job like other lubricants with her dildos but that she doesn't need much. In addition, it's not sticky and is very easy to clean away after it has been enjoyed.

So if you're looking for a good quality lube that is thick and doesn't have any undesirable additional sensations then this could be ideal for you.

Lubricant. What is there to say? Lube is not usually a subject that one would find easy to talk about. It is difficult to pull countless words together to accurately describe this one essential we all need due to the general consensus being that it is too simple to discuss at any notable length. This, I think, is the norm when it comes to reviewing lubricant. However, this time, at least, there is actually a fair bit worth talking about. Shall I begin?

Firstly, I would like to point out that the build design just about answers every problem I’ve ever had with dispensers in the past. More often than not, lubricant vials are fiddly, poorly designed and unsuited to use in medias res. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve had trouble gripping slippery squeeze bottles in order to release the contents, and the problems I've faced under similar circumstances when confronted with long, soap-like push dispensers. There is absolutely nothing erotic about the struggle we’ve all faced to access lube while neck deep in the more pressing activities of an evening.

I feel that Lovehoney have recognised this dilemma and tackled it head-on. The compact push nozzle of the new Enjoy lube is distinctly effortless to use, no matter how far you are into your sexual excursion. Each squirt is controlled and dispenses only as much as is necessary per application. There’s zero risk of too much spilling out and no time is ever wasted by fiddling to dispense enough, meaning that any interruption by use is minimal to nonexistent and you are free to go ahead with your regularly scheduled programming.

As far as aesthetics go, this product is not particularly special. There are no bells, no whistles, and nothing about it is exotic in the least. I personally love this and will explain why in just a second, but I can see a downside that I know some others won’t ignore. I understand that lubricant, the use of it, the ritual, can add a certain something to sex in the same way that condoms can. You bring it into the bedroom and play on the erotic, sensual factors of including it in your nightly pattern. A racy, provocative design can go a long way in this sense. Lovehoney’s own Enjoy lube can’t offer that. The design is simple, fresh, almost clinical, in fact, and does not elude to sex at all. I for one am pleased with this. I like my lubricants to be discreet and non-obtrusive! I feel like this bottle could sit inconspicuously on any bedside and that makes me, a rather private person, quite happy indeed. I’m sure that many of you, the shy, the private, and, perhaps, the parents, can appreciate this.

The lubricant quality is, in a word, high. I have tried my share of duds in the past and this is thankfully not one of them. Instead of a watery or creamy texture, two qualities common in water-based lube, Enjoy comes out as more of a lightweight gel than anything. It is cool, fluid, and extraordinarily slick, but it is thick and substantial too.

Something that really impresses me is that, although it is gel-like, it does not at any point get tacky or unpleasant; it remains glossy from start to finish. It is also worth noting that it leaves no residue at all. Another important factor is the longevity. This lube lasts. I have used it both for solo and couple activities and have found the need to reapply to be quite minimal indeed. It’s always a pleasure to be able to relax and focus on the task at hand without having to worry about the next time you’ll have to reach for the bottle. I won’t say that one application will last forever, hell, water-based lubes seldom do, but this one in particular does last longer than many of the top brands I’ve tried in my time. It’s second to few, if not none.

In conclusion, I would like to state that this is a great lubricant that I would heartily recommend. It is ideal for use in pretty much any situation I can think of. Being water-based, it is safe for use with all condoms and toys, even those featuring silicone, and as an added bonus is free from nasties such as parabens and glycerine, meaning that it is safe for your skin too. Really, there’s no reason not to buy it. I'd definitely urge you to give it a try - I don't think you'll regret it.

This is my favourite lube and great for vaginal and anal penetration as well as clit rubbing pleasure.

It isn't sticky like some are and doesn't taste bad. Just a great quality lube which I will continue to buy and recommend to anyone.

The pump is also very handy and clean. Can be used with toys as well without ruining them.

Once upon a time, there was a girl who thought lube was just for unfortunate post-menopausal women whose ladygardens had turned, thanks to the evil tricks of Mother Nature, into arid dust bowls. Firstly it's a great size bottle and holds enough to last a good while but it's small enough to hide away, even though the subtle design wouldn't turn any heads if it was spotted. It could easily be glasses cleaner or something as equally unsexy. The pump top makes for super simple and speedy dispensing - I've got it down to a fine art, like an F1 pitstop. 4 seconds tops.

The lube itself is a great consistency - gloopy enough not to run and drip everywhere the second it's applied but not so sticky that it dries up too soon. It's water-based so nice and safe for all types of toys and, after many many uses, it has never caused me any sort of irritation after application. There's no real smell and, while I prefer my cocks ungarnished for blowjobs, the taste isn't hideous. I use it for sex, with toys and administering pretty awesome handjobs. My OH also uses this with his various strokers and rechargeable 'Wankatron3000' (I forget its real name) and I've never heard any complaints.

My adventures in Lubeland have taught me much about the wonders of lube and how easily it can enhance sex, foreplay and masturbation. I would definitely recommend adding a bottle of this to your basket if you want to live (and love) happily ever after!

This is a fantastic lube. I've tried a few different brands (Durex Play, KY Jelly) and nothing compares to this. Cheap price and high quality.

My wife has developed a sensitivity to lube but has no problems whatsoever with this lube. I've also used it with Lovehoney's strokers and found it to be a fantastic combination.

In brief: It gives a heightened sensation during sex or solo play with or without a toy. No smell. No stickiness (this is probably the best aspect of this lube, cleaning up after doesn't require a shower, a simple wipe down takes care of cleaning up without leaving an irritating residue).

As a complete beginner to sex toys, I knew the one rule is you need lube. We read different reviews about the different lubes you could buy and decided that the Lovehoney's own water-based lube sounded like the best to try.

The parcel arrived in a brown box with no logo splashed all over it. Very discreet, which is what you need considering what was inside.

The lube was very smooth and almost creamy. We tried one pump to start with and that's all we needed. It was still slippery when we were finishing off our play session. It had no smell, which is nice. I'm not sure of the taste, but I'm sure we'll be getting round to taste it in no time.

I have never tried lube before, but I think I've found the best one of the bunch. Will I buy it again" You bet. It made everything easy and painless.

I bought this as I'm sick of spending a fortune at Tesco on Durex lube.

This stuff... The title says it all, really. Superb value for money and a great product.

Its lubing effect lasts a long time and I never felt the need to reapply as I have in the past with other lubes. I've not tried many lubes but this knocks Durex out the park with ease.

Like most, found the pump action to be such a simple yet effective solution compared to others. No more squeezing, flipping lids.

As for the lube itself, it did the job but must admit to having found it a bit too tacky for me.

Everything about this lube is great. It's lasts ages and has no offensive smell. Nice texture.

The selling point for me was that it's vegan-friendly -- I'm not a vegan but I won't buy anything that's tested on animals and a lot of lubes don't explicitly state that.

Also, the pump bottle is so convenient for times when you only have one hand free!

The first time my partner and I tried Lovehoney's Enjoy Lube, we made a rookie mistake. Assuming this was just like any other water-based lube that we'd tried before, my partner liberally pumped Enjoy onto his hand and then we soon realised that a little goes a very long way.

We've since used the correct amount and it was fabulous! It lasted as long as we did without us needing more, and the user-friendly pump head made it easy to get the right amount in the right place with little to no spillage or mess. The lube itself is smooth and not pungent or tacky and even better, it's allergy friendly!

For toys and those times when we need a little assistance I doubt we'll ever look at another lube brand again. Great value for money and just an all round fantastic product!

I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the bottle as I wasn’t sure what I would Get with it being a free gift. The item arrived quickly and in discreet packaging which is always a bonus. I couldn’t wait to try it out so as soon as the postman had been I popped upstairs and got my toys out. I made a rookie mistake and did about 4 squirts (which is how much I had to use of my other lube), which was overkill, to say the least!

After a quick wipe, I started over and just put a tiny dot on my finger and rubbed it on my clit and on my suction clitoral vibrator and my god it worked like a charm. Got me just wet enough for the suction to work and not to hurt but not too wet that everything slides all over the place and I lose feeling.

Now usually when I’m having solo play I have to stop every 20 minutes to re-lube because it just dries out but 40 minutes in and it was still as silky and wet as when first applied! Managed to finish without needing a top-up, which I was really happy with.

I found this to be a really high-quality lube, it is easily the equal of much more expensive, brand named lubricants on the market.

Basically, if you've tried the 100ml version, then you'll know this is the better version that is more worth the money.

Overall, this is the perfect lube in terms of quality and quantity.
