Three words: Buy This Lube!
Seriously, you will not regret buying this lube. Me and my OH have tried more lubes than we can count on our fingers, and this one is the crème de la crème! I love the Yes brand, and I still can not decide if I prefer the oil-based or the water-based. But why choose?
This product has quite a nice taste but I wouldn't recommend using it for oral...
Let's just say, using this lube for the first time, that me and my OH had the best foreplay and intercourse we have ever had!
The oil base leaves skin so soft and moisturised and is long lasting. Perfect for dry and sensitive skin. Never sticky either. Just luxurious and pure.
You will never regret trying this lube. Just amazing.
- Everything about it!
- Nothing about it that I did not enjoy.
- Bottom line
- Luxurious and pure. This is the best lube in the whole world!

The packaging is very attractive. The bottle is very discreet. There is nothing identifying it as lube on the front of the bottle and a very small description on the back. This could easily sit on a bathroom counter and never be identified.
We use this lube when we are having shower sex, sex with no toys, or are looking for a wet slick experience. It comes out a thicker Vaseline-like substance, allowing you to put it just where you need it. It dissolves as it is warmed up, and becomes very slick. Once applied, you can no longer feel it as lube, it feels like your own fluids. It is long-lasting and does not need to be reapplied no matter how long you go. Once you're done there is no clean-up needed, as it leaves absolutely no residue. Your skin feels moist like you had sprayed an oil moisturizer on.
Mix with the Yes water-based lube for a very long-lasting slick experience.
There is no smell and very little taste (almost like a saline). This lube does not interfere with oral at all. Mr. B says he couldn't tell the difference between it and me.
- Natural, long lasting, slick.
- Bottom line
- Top notch.

Yes Oil-Based comes in a teensy turquoise squeezy tube, that looks a lot like a travel shampoo bottle.
It's super discreet and thin enough to tuck into your pocket if you needed to! Initially, I was a bit disappointed by the size as I didn't think it would quite that small, but 25ml turns out to be more than enough.
Like coconut oil, it doesn't squeeze out in a liquid, it comes out as a small, soft piece that melts with your body temperature. You just need to rub that little piece between your hands and apply as you normally would. I personally think this is pretty convenient as it prevents it from dripping everywhere, but if you've never handled oils before you might be surprised initially. Please be aware that you can't use this (or any oil) with condoms, and you should patch test any silicone toys you want to use with this.
The texture's divine; smooth, buttery, thick, but not gloopy, and incredibly nourishing. If you've ever done a deep conditioning hair mask or been for a spa treatment you'll know exactly what I mean. I swear my skin feels softer after I use this!
I bought it with the intention of using it mainly for vaginal sex, but it turned out to be even better for butt stuff, especially with my steel and glass toys. Plus, there's no real taste to it. If you go down on someone after you apply it there's a very faint oily feel (as you'd expect), but no odd flavour.
In addition to the silky texture, I feel like it stays slick for much longer than water-based lubricants do, and it lacks the almost dry finish of silicone lube and that uncomfortable 'I need to take a shower now' feeling afterwards. It doesn't leave behind a greasy sheen, either, it just absorbs into your skin, leaving it soft and moisturised.
The leaflet inside the box talks about using it for dryness post-menopause or after chemotherapy, and while that doesn't apply to me, I imagine it'd work like a dream because of how natural and light it feels.
Speaking of moisturising, this isn't mentioned in the description as it's not really what it's intended for, but reading the ingredients list made me wonder if I could use this on dry skin. I'm prone to getting painful scaly skin on my elbows if I don't exfoliate and slather myself in body butter on a daily basis, and having previously used coconut oil to soften up my elbows I wondered if this would be any good. Well, I tried it, and it works like a charm. Just take a tiny bit, warm it up, rub it onto your dry patches. I've also rubbed it into my split ends when I've run out of hair treatments, and it leaves them feeling soft and shiny!
Overall, I can't recommend it enough! I seriously want to buy one for everyone I know. I love the texture, it's multi-purpose, paraben and glycerin free, it's not greasy and it comes in a cute bottle in my favourite colour. I really wish Lovehoney stocked the vanilla kind, apparently it smells like cinnamon rolls, and I can't think of anything better than a lube this moisturising that also smells like a baked good!
- Moisturising, discreet packaging, buttery non-greasy texture, ideal for sensitive folks.
- It's not a dislike, but you can't use it with condoms.
- Bottom line
- An essential.
