    1. Super slick

Reviewed: 28 November 2016 by NatandTom, a Straight Going Steady Female

I received a bottle of Lovehoney Slick free with a semi-recent purchase and I couldn't wait to try it out. Before this arrived on the scene I had only tried one other silicone lubricant, which happened to be Sliquid Silver, one of the most expensive, luxurious lubricants available. I absolutely adore that stuff and a bottle lasts for ages, but it's costly and can't always be afforded when there are so many other things higher up on the wishlist. This is where Slick comes in, saving the day at a more budget-friendly £7.

I wasn't sure what to expect but my good first impressions gave me high hopes. I love the bottle presentation as it's simple, easy on the eye and doesn't stand out when left on the dresser. It doesn't scream lubricant like those awfully bright, tacky Durex bottles do. It features a pump nozzle, which makes use extremely convenient in my opinion, ensuring you get the right amount of product each time. It saves mess, spills and waste too, which is a bonus.

Although this is a silicone lubricant containing no glycerin or parabens, my partner and I decided to do a patch test anyway, just to be on the safe side. We are both quite sensitive, so we make this a habit when trying out any sort of new bedroom essential. Doing a patch test gives you a first-hand look at the texture and consistency before trying it out in any intimate areas and also allows you to check out the scent, which in this case doesn't exist as it's odourless.

It has a great consistency, really living up to its name, as it is indeed slick. It glides with ease and comfortably removes any unwanted friction. It has the perfect balance between thick and thinness, being just about right for our personal tastes. It's not so thick that it becomes tacky on the skin or starts to clump, but it's not so thin that it's runny and unusable. A small amount of this product is more than enough for the majority of our sessions, as it lasts longer than most water-based lubricants that I've tried, although it doesn't quite have the edge on the staying power of the Silver.

It's not easy to get off the skin after use, as it doesn't just rinse off like a water-based product would, so you do need to scrub it firmly to fully remove any traces. It's the same sort of process when it comes to cleaning toys that have been used with silicone lubricants as they generally need a more thorough rinse and scrub to remove any residue after use. I tend to use the Lovehoney Fresh Wipes first as they remove most of it, with a scrub under running water afterwards finishing the job.

Overall, this Slick Lubricant is fantastic and I can find no real flaws with it, other than the slight downsides that all silicone lubricants have, such as possible sheet staining. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this and I'd definitely use it again.

    1. Super Slick Lube

      Reviewed: 2 September 2016 by Ands67

I bought this Lovehoney-branded slick lube and used on my dick for some solo masturbation fun and this gave me a super slick dick that just lasted and lasted longer than I did!

It was still present slip sliding away while I was in the shower the next morning.

I also used it on my new Lovehoney Pure Pleasure Sensual Glass Butt Plug and it went in just the same as the water-based anal lube but it lasted much longer.

I love the discreet size shape and design of all the Lovehoney latest lube bottles, it does show some thought went into the design and discreet branding.

Its well-known silicone lube is much more expensive than water-based but this currently is just £1 more and I had a look elsewhere out of interest and couldn't find any that came close not with a pump dispenser.

    1. Lovehoney Slick Silicone Lubricant 100ml

Reviewed: 24 June 2016 by stevie-boy, a Bisexual Single Male

Lovehoney Slick is one silky lube! Quite thick; it creates a wonderful soft, smooth and shiny layer that feels and looks fabulous!

I've only used it during solo sessions so far, and as others have commented, a little really does go a long way! I like to apply it quite heavily though around the whole cock, balls, thighs area so that everything around there feels superbly slippery.

It certainly heightens my pleasure, and after a long edging session, once cleaned-up, it leaves my skin feeling wonderfully silky!
