Lovehoney's story began twelve years ago, operating from founder and journalist Richard Longhurst’s bedroom. Fun Fact: When Lovehoney received their first order, Neal had to go buy an envelope in the local post office and now we send out thousands of parcels every day. Plus, it was 6 days before they got another order!
These days many of the 20,000 packages shipped from the Lovehoney warehouse are headed to Australia where Lovehoney has a its operations based in Brisbane.
Lovehoney co-owner Slateford, who has previously remixed tracks for Kylie Minogue, said: ‘We’re delighted that the show is continuing to spark an interest with audiences all over the world, especially in Australia where we have been enjoying great success in the past 12 months.’
What was it like being followed around at work by a camera crew? Slateford explains: ‘We got used to the camera crews pretty quickly. ‘They were allowed complete access to everything that was going on.’
